Mother Fucking Top Shop has pushed back the NYC store opening to November instead of October .They did so because the store's complex design is taking longer then expected.To make up for this they launched a US site that doesn't have international shipping charges .I'm still disappointed tho

Stephano Pilati ,the creative director of Yves Saint Laurent is driving a whole bunch of Manhattan Fashionistas crazy.Why you ask?Well on September 6 in the height of fashion week Yves Saint Laurent will be handing out 5,000 limited edition cotton tote bags designed by Pilati in the French house’s ongoing Manifesto program, in which newspaper-style catalog's are handed out to women on the streets of key fashion cities. This season Manifesto features Naomi Campbell in fall-winter designs, photographed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. A short behind-the-scenes film and the Manifesto images will debut exclusively on ysl.com on the same day.The down side is no one knows were they'll be handed out!

My infatuation with the Ivy League continues to grow.While in search of a cool myspace jam that the stalkers could listen to while they snoop in my biz I came across Chester French.At first i was like damn they sound like the Beatles .Then I was like no its definitely the Beach Boys .Anyway like Ryan Leslie, Chester French went to Harvard.While in college they started making music together that they could enjoy .Job well done cause I sure do. There retro sound with contemporary lyrics is just the thing that I wanna hear .It fascinates me how they're smart enough to get into Harvard and yet continue to pursue a career in music where there passion lies. I don't know if you guys watch Entourage but they're song "she loves everybody" was featured in season four's first episode.Being featured on a t.v show seems to bring a few fans ...........Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol got a fan base once featured in Grey's Anatomy.........Back to the point, the word is out so go listen for yourself!!!

So Joy Bryant and Jay-z got this "The Evolution"ad campaign going on.A few months back I saw pictures of Jay and Joy real close .It all makes sense now.Anyway the ads are a good attempt at revival but I think change really needs to start with a new creative director/designer .The items they have on the site is reminiscent of what would've been cool when The Blueprint came out.On an another note Joy Bryant is great.She ditched Yale to pursue an acting career.That just shows you she got balls.
