My infatuation with the Ivy League continues to grow.While in search of a cool myspace jam that the stalkers could listen to while they snoop in my biz I came across Chester French.At first i was like damn they sound like the Beatles .Then I was like no its definitely the Beach Boys .Anyway like Ryan Leslie, Chester French went to Harvard.While in college they started making music together that they could enjoy .Job well done cause I sure do. There retro sound with contemporary lyrics is just the thing that I wanna hear .It fascinates me how they're smart enough to get into Harvard and yet continue to pursue a career in music where there passion lies. Short periods of storage while folded cause fold lines that are unsightly. Long periods of storage while folded may crack.(this is true especially for travel bags like the keepall) The solution is to store them stuffed. Big Daddy's is a retro themed diner located in the trendy Gramercy neighborhood.Your typical 24hr burger joint with a twist.Located on your table by the condiments are a stack of trivia questions ,cute concept but only way to answer these questions correctly is if you were brought up during the 1960's.The service was kinda shitty considering the waitress looked as if it was her first day on the job.After dealing with a drunk tourist in the booth behind mine I went home with one question WHO IS BIG DADDY??All that being said the food is good enough to salvage this spot.Convenient and cheap,located just blocks from trendy clubs like Duvet and Strata .Once your done partying you can grab a quick bit at just don't ask for big daddy's because you might be disappointed.

Harvard and fashion go hand in hand....At least know they do now .Harvard junior, Timothy Parent, has put together Project East,which is a fashion show and benefit set for Saturday on campus in Cambridge, Mass.Clothing by 21 designers from New York, Shanghai, and Tokyo will be featured at the event, including Yeohlee Teng, Thuy Diep, Mary Ping, Alexander Wang, and Lu Kun. Thirteen of the participants are graduates of Parsons School of Design in New York. So far, the students have secured more than $15,000 in sponsorships that will cover the cost of the tent they're renting. They still need another $10,000 or so to pay for expenses such as lighting, the disc jockey, hair stylists, makeup artists, hotel rooms for visiting designers, and a reception. They're looking for volunteers to work as models. Tryouts will be held this Saturday and Sunday from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Mather House in Cambridge. Anyone, even non-students, can audition.

Tickets for the show will be available at the Harvard box office or online at http://www.fas.harvard.edu/~tickets/. Student admission is $15. General admission is $20.

Today I saw every ones favorite actor Denzel Washington(mine at least)in American Gangster.So when I first heard about the movie I thought it was going to be about every the ultimate snitch Nickey Barnes but I was wrong..I had never heard about the Frank Lucas until I saw the movie...He reigned as Harlem's conservative king pin through out the 70's and when was he was convicted reportedly made over 250 million dollars distributing narcotics in all five boroughs.This movie is definitely a must see..
And academy award winner Russel Crowe isn't so bad either .

I give the movie 4 out of a possible 5 stars .
